Product Details

Our MVR Evaporator with DTB Crystallizer is a high-efficiency integrated system combining MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) evaporation technology and DTB (Draft Tube Baffle) crystallization technology. This specialized equipment is tailored for industrial crystallization projects requiring high-purity crystal production and energy saving, solving core pain points such as uneven crystal size, easy scaling, low crystal purity, and high energy consumption in traditional crystallization processes. Widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and environmental protection industries, it realizes efficient concentration, controlled crystallization, and high-purity crystal recovery, helping enterprises achieve resource reuse and cost reduction.

Working Principle (Simplified)

  1. Feed Preparation: Raw liquid (chemical solution, high-salinity wastewater, food syrup, etc.) is pre-filtered to remove solid impurities and suspended particles, adjusted to appropriate temperature, pH value, and concentration to create optimal crystallization conditions for the DTB crystallizer.

  2. Forced Circulation & Evaporation: The pre-treated liquid is pumped into the heating chamber by a high-pressure, anti-clogging circulation pump, forming a high-speed turbulent flow in the heating tubes. Under vacuum conditions, the liquid is heated by recompressed steam from the MVR system, realizing low-temperature evaporation and rapid concentration to reach supersaturation.

  3. MVR Vapor Recompression: The secondary steam generated during evaporation is suctioned and compressed by the MVR compressor, increasing its temperature and pressure to become high-quality heating steam, which is recycled back to the heating chamber for reuse—greatly reducing external steam demand and energy consumption.

  4. DTB Controlled Crystallization: The supersaturated liquid enters the DTB crystallizer, where the draft tube promotes uniform circulation of the liquid, and the baffle separates the crystal growth zone from the clarification zone. Seed crystals are added to induce crystallization, and the gentle circulation ensures uniform crystal growth, preventing crystal agglomeration and scaling.

  5. Crystal Separation & Discharge: The crystal-slurry mixture in the DTB crystallizer is continuously discharged to a centrifuge for solid-liquid separation. High-purity crystals are collected for reuse or sale, the mother liquor is recycled back to the evaporator for further concentration, and the condensed pure water is recycled for production or discharged up to standard.

  • Intelligent & Easy Operation: PLC + HMI automatic control system, real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, concentration, crystal size, and circulation flow; automatic adjustment of MVR compressor speed and DTB crystallizer operating parameters, realizing unmanned operation and easy maintenance.
